COFFMAN CEMETERY

Coffman Cemetery is located in Knoxville Township, Section 26 Township 76 Range 199, about 400 feet north of 1164 Hwy. S71 street sign. It is fewer than two miles south of the Coal Ridge Church. The parcel number is 0699400301.

The land on the north side of the cemetery is U.S. property and is part of Lake Red Rock. This fenced site about 40-feet square has one grave, Reuben Coffman, a Civil War veteran with a GAR metal marker. He died in 1866. The surrounding area was once coal mines. A faint trail from the highway leads to this spot about 250 feet east.
