STICKLE CEMETERY

Stickle Cemetery is in Knoxville Township Section 19 Township 75 Range 20 in the 700 block of Perry Street, about 6 miles southwest of Knoxville on "Crooked Road." You go north a couple blocks on 80th Ave., then west down Perry Street, which becomes a dead end dirt road. There is a farm gate with a large "No Trespassing" sign and a dirt lane that leads up a hill to a timbered spot. The parcel number is 0656700100.

There is one stone with a name, Elizabeth Glenn, 1853, plus 10 other identical concrete blocks to mark the other spots. It is named after the Stickle farm owners. The cemetery is well fenced with hog panels and mowed. There is a picnic table to the east on this private spot with a nice view north.
